Fathers Rights Activists Grow Stronger, And Hold Rally

Submitted by WakeUp on Thu, 02/14/2008 - 05:19.

Father's For Justice Los Angeles (F4JLA) and National Coalition of Free Men Los Angeles (NCFMLA) held a rally in Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks Park in LA. Some people dressed in costumes as different interpretations of "the family law judge". They met with people from the public and explained the cause to them. It is a good way to increase awareness. However, this movement is going to have to take baby-steps for quite some time. It could take a while to undo decades of damage caused by the feminist stranglehold on the family courts.

Dr. Stephen Baskerville's Interview on WJR

Submitted by WakeUp on Thu, 12/27/2007 - 17:18.

This is a 30 minute radio interview with Dr. Steven Baskerville, Ph.D. from WJR in Michigan. He explains how the deep the bias against fathers in the family law system in America treats innocent men like criminals, robs them of their civil rights, takes their children away from them and forces them into making child support payments based on current and future earnings. He explains the fast-track trials and charges of contempt that result in jail time without a trial. One man interviewed was not allowed to have a lawyer during his proceedings. This was ordered by a female judge.

Families getting child support unhappy about new fee

Submitted by WakeUp on Fri, 12/07/2007 - 19:38.

In Lincoln, Nebraska divorced parents supporting children are faced with a new tax on child support payments. Scroll down and read the comments from entitled mothers with "deadbeat" ex-husbands. Here is a good one from a reader named "Linda": My ex husband owes over 10,000.00 dollars in back child support and the state he lives in lets him get away with it. He should of lost his professional drivers license and been put in jail years ago when he reached the 5,000.00 dollars mark". Remember, this is what you have to look forward to if you have kids and divorce.

Arrest warrant issued for Myriam Bédard

Submitted by WakeUp on Fri, 11/30/2007 - 19:52.

Canadian Olympic gold medalist Myriam Bédard had a warrant issued for her arrest for kidnapping her 11-year-old daughter. I wonder how many feminists would consider it her "right" to do that and still maintain that a father who does the same thing is a kidnapper. I bet there are more than a few.

Proposed Ohio legislation suggests paternity consent

Submitted by WakeUp on Fri, 10/19/2007 - 04:24.

At first this bill seemed like it had to do with men's rights, but seems more like a conservative bill to block women's rights to abortion. Having equal rights for fathers does not necessarily mean taking them away from mothers. If a woman wants an abortion, but a man doesn't, he should be allowed to take custody in a society with equal rights. If a woman wants a child, but not the father, she should have full rights to with her body to abort or have the child, but the father should have the right to decline financial and other responsibility.

Submitted by WakeUp on Wed, 10/17/2007 - 19:25.

Here is an article filled with misandric rhetoric about how its men's fault they don't want to commit to marriage and how they don't know what they're missing. From the USA Today article: "One reason young men balk at marriage is "they don't yet get it," says Atlanta psychiatrist Frank Pittman, author of Grow Up!

Jailed for waving at my daughter

Submitted by WakeUp on Mon, 08/06/2007 - 21:21.

A man in England came home one day to find his house empty. All furniture and other accessories gone. He found out his wife left with their two children. His kids were just as scared and confused as he was, since he was never a bad/neglectful/abusive father. After this split-up, he filed for divorce just to lose custody of his kids. He also received an order saying he was not allowed to contact his children and was jailed for harassment for waiving at them when he saw their school bus pass by his house. He was reunited with his daughter when she turned 16.
