Male-Bashing and Discrimination

Male-bashing has become acceptable in our culture, which is unacceptable. Many of the phrases, sayings and jokes made about men would never be uttered if the same things were said about black people, Jews or women. Below are articles and some real-world examples of misandry gone unchecked.

Student auctions virginity, sparks online debate

Submitted by WakeUp on Thu, 09/11/2008 - 21:40.

A 21-year-old graduate is auctioning her virginity for $1 million to pay her college debts. This assumes she is not lying about being a virgin. She has a degree in women's studies, a class which actually teaches young women the art of selling sex as a commodity, mostly influencing work in the pornography business more so than prostitution. Students are taught that such a job is "empowering". Perhaps this class is where she learned to exploit a man for money using sex as her weapon.

Struggling School-Age Boys

Submitted by WakeUp on Thu, 09/11/2008 - 21:35.

Peg Tyre from Newsweek wrote this suggesting boys are over diagnosed with ADHD. Also, restless boys who are treated as "bad" really just need more active hands-on curriculum and additional free activities. From the article: "Let's take a moment, before the school year gets any farther underway, and ask ourselves whether we are raising and educating our boys in a way that respects their natural development. And if we are not, let's figure out how we can bring our family life and our schools back into line."

Understanding ‘Guyland’

Submitted by WakeUp on Wed, 09/03/2008 - 05:41.

Michael Scott Kimmel is a misandric male sociology and sexuality professor at Stony Brook University who wrote a book called "Guyland" which bashes male college students as being sexist. This is typical of college feminist culture. Read his page on Ratemyprofessor.com for reviews from some of his students. They indicate that as long as students agree with him they will get A's. Ones who disagree are publicly mocked and will fail. Just like many feminist professors.

Getaway with just the Girls...escape with Women Only Weekends!

Submitted by WakeUp on Wed, 09/03/2008 - 04:23.

This discrimination is actually sponsored by the state of New York as indicated by the official NY logo at the bottom of the home page. There is a notice saying "'I Love NY' is a registered trademark and service mark of the New York State Department of Economic Development; used with permission." The home page also says "no guys, no dishes, and no diapers!".

Government Grants For Women

Submitted by WakeUp on Wed, 09/03/2008 - 04:06.

This web site appears to be a scam. It offers for sale books about entitlement grants of between $500 and $250,000 for women. It claims no credit check is required. Money can be given for cars, house/rent, fuel, child care, food, legal services and more. There is rumor that the grants mentioned in the books are not even female specific. Decades of female entitlement conditioning from feminist culture has lead to scams like this being possible. It preys on weak individuals and could be an example of how feminist influence on culture is damaging to women.

Manhattan Man Claims Jet Blue Forced Him To Sit In Bathroom

Submitted by WakeUp on Wed, 05/14/2008 - 18:37.

Jet Blue forced a man out of his seat because one of the flight attendants was too uncomfortable in her jump seat. The man sat in the bathroom for several hours during the international flight. He is suing for $2 million dollars. In reality he might win because of being treated so unusually. Sitting in the jump seat is part of any flight attendant's routine. Everyone has parts of their job they find uncomfortable.

Male, single and not your stereotype

Submitted by WakeUp on Tue, 04/08/2008 - 04:10.

Excellent article about what it means to stay single and not be stereotyped as a mamas-boy, playboy or gay. Bill Gulvin dates women, has friends a job and does his own laundry. He believes single men can be stereotyped as slobs who need a woman's touch to decorate or do household chores. At 57, he still refuses to settle down. Some modern men are single and proud of it.

Mexico City Rolls Out Women-Only Buses

Submitted by WakeUp on Tue, 04/08/2008 - 03:51.

Here is a perfect example of how the demonization of men is equity for women. Mexico city now has woman-only buses with pink signs on them waving off the men. After numerous complaints about sexual harassment and groping this policy was formed. The reason given: women don't complain enough about sexual harassment. Then, what do you call feminism and getting special buses? Here is another article about it from the New York Times.

Who's Tired of Pink?

Submitted by WakeUp on Sun, 03/30/2008 - 06:24.

This fact-less piece of generalizations is some of the most overly simplistic patriarchy hysteria one can read. The author says women are less violent, yet has nothing to back it up. She writes "I know all generalizations are false" yet her article is nothing but negative male stereotypes. She also writes "I have seen enough men in high office to last a lifetime. Let's give women a chance!" Men might be the ones who hold those positions but they legislate solely in women's interests on gender-related issues. They are not oppressive to females with their power.

Man who didn't register for draft sues IRS over firing

Submitted by WakeUp on Sat, 03/29/2008 - 03:27.

A man, now 42, was fired from his job at the IRS back in 2002 for failing to register for selective services when he was 18. When he turned 18, he was a homeless father living from place to place struggling to stay in high school. For those who do not know, all males above age 18 in the U.S. have to register for selective military services. Those registered can be called to serve if there is ever a need for a military draft. There are other penalties for not registering such as not being able to receive federal loans. Women are exempt from these limitations.
