Female Sex Offenders

Most women found guilty of sex offense do not receive nearly the harsh treatment of a male sex offender. Many of them are known to only receive probation after being found guilty of having sex with teenagers and children. Some of them will even play the role of victim to avoid a harsh punishment. The cases in these articles should serve to show the biases used in the legal system that help female pedophiles "get off". Watch out for words such as "affair", "love" and "seduce". These are light compared to the inflammatory words often used when speaking of male sex offenders. If you turn on any mainstream news station, the only sex offenders they show are male. The only females shown are the occasional pretty ones. This anti-male bias creates stereotypes and double-standards. This is without mentioning how quick the media is to portray females as victims in the news and in fiction, particularly if the victimizer is male. If women are equal to men, should they not be held to the same scrutiny and punishments as us? Or, on the other side of that same coin, is it possible that males in the prison system are treated harshly like animals and not offered enough sensitivity to be given a good opportunity to be rehabilitated? It is hard to tell. Are men given too much stereotype in the media? Either way, the gender bias is just sad and unacceptable.

Woman, 30, posed as teenage boy in sex case

Submitted by WakeUp on Tue, 05/01/2007 - 22:28.

A 30-year-old woman posed as a 17-year old boy and convinced the parents of a 14 year old girl to let her stay with them as the girl's boyfriend. The girl had no idea her "boyfriend" was really a grown woman. From the article: "Lucy Berliner, director of the Harborview Center for Sexual Assault and Trauma Stress in Seattle. "Female-on-female sexual abuse is the rarest category. It doesn't happen very often at all."" Rarest? Women sexually assault each other all the time, they just don't get in trouble for it. She must have a PhD in "men are victimizers, women are victims" feminist theory".

Submitted by WakeUp on Wed, 04/25/2007 - 16:53.

A 33-year-old Michigan woman was arrested for attempting to prostitute her 7-year-old daughter to an undercover police officer. In her vehicle, police found a bag full of sex toys and different outfits that would fit a young girl. She plead not guilty on her own behalf and is not represented by a lawyer as of yet. Maximum sentence is 20 years if she is found guilty.

Two female teachers in South Carolina were arrested for having sex with several of the male students. In this racially charged case, the two teacher were white and all of the students were black. This has stirred some commotion in a state with old roots in segregation and racism.

Watertown teen charged with child endangerment

Submitted by WakeUp on Mon, 04/02/2007 - 18:25.

a 16-year-old girl was arrested for inappropriately touching a 10 year old girl who she was babysitting. She was arrested. She probably will not face one day in juvenile center, and I wonder if she will play the "I was abused" defense. In either case, locking up teenagers is a solution with debatable merits. Don't forget the cases in this section about the abuse of authority used to take advantage of minors in some of these facilities. She was charged with "Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Sexual Abuse 1st Degree". The article's headline only mentions child endangerment.

Twin Sisters Take Topless Photos in Front of 5-Year-Old

Submitted by WakeUp on Mon, 04/02/2007 - 13:41.

In front of a 5 year old? And they were only charged with disorderly conduct? I bet if two brothers exposed themselves to a 5 year old girl the charges would have been FAR worse.

Teacher who seduced boy sentenced to 10 years

Submitted by WakeUp on Sun, 03/18/2007 - 23:54.

I wonder why the headline says seduced when she was sentenced to 10 years for first-degree rape. This is reduced from her original charge of 28 counts of first-degree rape. She received the mandatory minimum and her attorney still said this was harsh. Her maximum penalty could have been 25 years. In any case, this is a more male-equal sentence (not that the prison system is very rehabilitating to everyone).

Teacher charged with exploitation of her student

Submitted by WakeUp on Sun, 03/18/2007 - 23:40.

This woman was charged with exploitation of a male student. She is pregnant but is not married. When the boy left the school suspicion was raised that it might related to the pregnancy. Now on to the bias in this case. Let us examine the words and phrases used in this article: "inappropriate relationship", "have been aware of the relationship". Imagine if the sexes has been reversed in this case. No doubt would the author be more likely to use words like "predator" if the perp was a male.

Teen killed after affair with teacher; husband charged

Submitted by WakeUp on Sun, 03/18/2007 - 22:52.

Teacher has affair with teenage boy (it's getting old, I know). Teacher's husband goes into a jealous rage. Kills teenage boy. Husband charged with murder. Wife walks without charges for a sex crime or any connection to the murder. How many cases have I posted where women did the murdering and men associated with the women were punished with the more extreme jail term?

Teacher Jailed For Sex with Student

Submitted by WakeUp on Sun, 03/18/2007 - 18:40.

This one had sex with a 17 year old student. She also made a video of herself doing a strip-tease and showed it to female students as a "reward" for good work. She was not charged with anything for the video. Imagine if it was a male teacher who showed the class that film. He would be in jail as you read this. This woman opted for a plea deal but was rejected and sentenced to only 6 months. The feminist lawyer who defended her, Ann Bremner (who you can see on CourtTV) had the nerve to say "women are not predators" and "boys are not as damaged".
