Marriage rates have gone down 50% since 1970 in the United States. Traditionally, it is men who ask women to marry them, not the other way around. Put the two of these facts together and you have a culture of American men who are just not asking women to marry them.
This web site serves to increase awareness about men's issues in society, particularly in America. While the women's movement has spread far into our culture, men have had little information on our issues. There are hardly any awareness campaigns, flyers, books or buzz words. Why should there be, anyway? After all, some feminists say men are all part of the same unfair patriarchy which oppresses women and sees to it that everything is only fair for one sex.
The next purpose is to point out examples in our culture of how male-bashing, anti-male bias and prejudice against men have become so deeply ingrained in our culture it has become hard to notice. These gender biases persist in the media and the legal system. Thanks to excessive chivalry and mass androphobia, feminists have influenced laws, public policies and politically correct speech which protect women yet vilify men at the same time.
Some of the anti-male laws even make it hard for men to speak out as victims of certain crimes. The domestic violence laws in America are based on the Violence Against Women Act or VAWA. While it protects women from abusive husbands and boyfriends, it is constructed in such a way that it is overprotective. A simple call from a woman who says she "feels threatened" can land an innocent man with a temporary protective order against him. Even if his partner hit, punched or slapped him first! VAWA effectively sanctions women's violence to men by not recognizing husbands and boyfriends as anything other the sole cause of DV.
Anti-father bias in the media is another point. Have you ever seen the commercial where the man wins a ping-pong match against his young daughter and then begins gloating and doing a victory dance? It is an interesting contrast from the Dunkin' Donuts commercial where the mom is bringing her kids to ballet, swimming, soccer and karate in a mini-van singing a song about doing just that. She is portrayed as being a "kick-ass" mom for being so on top of things. Are both of these commercials part of a larger picture? Keep your eye out next time you see a commercial with parents and spouses.
Anti-father laws may be one of the reasons marriage rates in the U.S. have decreased 50% since the 1970's. You will even see a similar trend of plummeting marriage rates in the U.K. Considering the paternity and divorce laws are so narrow and one-sided, it is not a surprise that women can receive child support from men who they lied to about being the father EVEN AFTER THE TRUTH WAS REVEALED. Two courts, one in Texas and the other in Alabama ruled in favor of forcing the non-biological men, who acted as father's under false pretenses for several years each, to continue paying child support even after DNA evidence proved they were not the real fathers. The women were NOT charged with perjury for lying under oath during divorce proceedings, nor were they charged with fraud for attempting to receive money from it. Instead they receive regular payments for it until the children turn 18. What of the real fathers?
When women are charged in crimes related to sexual acts with minors, it is shocking to find out the majority of them are teachers. Even more shocking is how they will receive probation and house arrest, or short jail terms, for crimes which put men behind bars for a decade or more. Turn on any major news network and the vast majority of sex offenders they report are men. The media carries a deep bias in more ways than just against fathers. Major players like CNN, Fox and MSNBC will put stories about women who commit these crimes on their web sites, but rarely on their TV shows. When reports do come out about female sex offenders on TV or the web, they rarely use words like "predator" as they do in the stories about male offenders. In fact, they will use words like "affair" and "relationship" when a woman has had inappropriate sex with a teenage boy. Take a glance at the section of links to articles collected from various sites around the web about female sex offenders. The women who were on trial for sex with minors share a tendency to play the victim card during their defence, often claiming to have been abused in some way. This is used to decrease sentencing whether it is a true statement, embellished, or a total lie. Most of the cases show the same patterns. Most of them bargain and take a guilty plea in exchange for having the charges lowered. During trials, they show a lack of remorse for their crimes and hardly speak of the victims. Then there is the act of contrition - crying after being found guilty. If you listen to the way the media and a lot of women talk about that sort of thing, there is a lot of double-standard shooting out of their mouths. "Oh, she slept with a teenage boy, you know he wanted it". Is this what boys should be taught? Would anyone say that about an adult male with young girl? How is it different for a boy than it is for a girl being physically ready but not emotionally or mentally ready? Adults should all be expected to live up to the same responsibility and be held to the same scrutiny. Talking it down when a woman commits the crime and giving boys the "high-five" attitude teaches them nothing.
In our atmosphere of political correctness and "fairness" to everyone, it becomes hard to see that while we protect many groups in America, men are often left out and almost seen as disposable. Read the articles and regular updates from this site for more details on the types of topics mentioned above. They are filled with references, names and links to support facts and debunk narrow feminist statistics, especially the ones which have influenced discriminatory laws and standards.

Why Women Are More Sexual Than Men And How They Cover It Up
Why Women Are More Sexual Than Men And How They Cover It Up
1) Women have a clitoris, the only part of the human body devoted entirely to sexual pleasure with no other purpose.
Misandry - The Socially Acceptable and Legal Form of Sexism
Misandry. You may have never even heard this word before, yet it is everywhere. The Free Dictionary defines it simply as hatred of men. Growing up as a male in America, I've been made aware of what is considered sexism towards women. I have been taught throughout the entire process of growing up, and even into adult life, that anything I could say or do that is hateful or degrading to women is WRONG for me to say. I have been taught this even if I have no natural inclination towards hate.
