The police investigated and had a long conversation with the boys before dropping the charges. The woman then filed a complaint with the Student Conflict Resolution Office at Texas A&M. The boys were found to have violated the school's rules prohibiting sexual assault and were each suspended for a year without any guarantee of being readmitted. All appeals have been denied.
