His mistake was saying "Come here little girl" as he exited the card. He grabbed the girl's arm to reprimand her. The girl broke free and ran away. Later he was arrested for kidnapping and unlawful restraint, which in IL state law is technically a sex offense. He was acquitted of the first charge but convicted of the second. He has to register as a sex offender and has housing limitations.
